BACKGROUND

Teresa Chahine is the social entrepreneurship program leader at the Center for Health and the Global Environment. She is the author of Introduction to Social Entrepreneurship, a comprehensive reference guide for social innovators based on her course at Harvard. Teresa divides her time between Boston and Beirut, where she helped launch Alfanar, the first venture philanthropy in the Arab countries.
